Michael Andersson (cyclist)

Michael Andersson ( born March 4, 1967 in Höganäs, Sweden ) is a Swedish former racing cyclist. He participated at the Olympic Games in 1992, 1996 and 2000. Three times he won the Tour of Sweden. In 1999, he defeated Jan Ullrich by just 14 seconds in the time trial World Championships in Treviso. Andersson presented with his three victories in the Tour of Sweden 1991, 1992 and 2000, the most wins of the former bicycle race. In the time trial world championships in 1990, 1996 and 1997, he was captain of the Swedish team.
