Michael Anthony Arthur

Michael Anthony Arthur KCMG ( born August 28, 1950) is a British diplomat.

He studied politics and economics at Oxford University and was accepted into the diplomatic service in 1972. Initially, he worked in the British Mission to the UN in Geneva. Later he worked in the embassies in Paris and Washington, DC, 2001 -. 2003 Arthur was at the Foreign Ministry Director-General of Europe departments and business. In 2004 he was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of Order of St Michael and St George. There was a use as a British High Commissioner in New Delhi. From 2007 to 2010 Arthur was the British Ambassador in Berlin.

Arthur is married and has four children.
