Michael Bürsch

Michael Peter Karsten Bürsch ( born June 3, 1942 in Stettin, † December 9, 2012 in Berlin) was a German politician ( SPD).

Life and career

After graduating from high school in 1961 in Kiel graduated Bürsch studying law at the Christian -Albrechts- University of Kiel, which he finished with the first legal state exam in 1967. He then took part in a postgraduate program in the United States and made after 1970 to 1973 legal training, which he completed with the second state examination. In 1971 his doctorate in law. at the University of Kiel with the work " Small State Constitution between Vormarz and reaction - studies on the origin of the waldeckisch - pyrmontischen constitutional documents of 1849 and 1852 ". After the end of the clerkship, he was initially a research associate at the University of Kiel and moved in 1975 to the ministry administration of the federal government. From 1984 to 1989 he worked for the former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt.

From 1993 to 1997 Bürsch worked as a freelance corporate and management consultant for consulting projects in the public sector.

Michael Bürsch was married and had a son.

After serving as a member of parliament, he founded the Center for Corporate Citizenship Germany ( CCCD ).

Member of Parliament
