Michael Carlsson

Michael Carlsson ( born May 31, 1972 in Ljusdal ) is a former Swedish Bandyspieler.

Carlsson played 1991-2011 for Västerås SK. Only in the 2003/04 season he was for the Russian club Wodnik Arkhangelsk, with which he in a season the Russian Championship, the European and the World Cup, won in use. With Västerås it was 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2001 Swedish champion and won the World Cup three times and four times the European Cup. 2012/13 he was a comeback for one season at Division 1 club Köpings IS.

He also was a member of the Swedish Bandynationalmannschaft. With it he won the 2003 World Cup as well as two silver and one bronze medal. He has 21 goals scorer in the World Championships in Oulu and Haparanda 2001.
