Michael Chapman (cinematographer)

Michael Chapman ( born November 21, 1935 in New York City, New York) is an American cinematographer and director who also appeared in several films in small roles as an actor in appearance.

Life and work

After training as a cameraman for documentaries Michael Chapman worked in the early 1970s as a camera operator for cinematographers like Gordon Willis ( in the films Klute and The Godfather ) and Bill Butler ( in Jaws ).
