Michael Chapman (singer)

Michael Chapman ( born January 24, 1941 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England ) is a British guitarist. He plays both the acoustic and the electric guitar.

Chapman is known for his sarcastic, partly autobiographical texts. His music blends rock, blues, folk, jazz and country. Chapman also translated texts by Udo Lindenberg into English and performed together with Achim Reichel. The mid-1980s, he and Rick Kemp of Steeleye Span, the band Savage Amusement. Published in 1995, Michael Chapman 's novel Firewater Dreams with a strong autobiographical character.
