Michael Dorn

Michael Dorn ( born December 9, 1952 in Luling, Texas) is an American actor, voice actor and director.

Life

Michael Dorn grew up in Pasadena, California. He studied radio and television production technology at Pasadena City College. From there, he started a musical career. He has performed with various rock bands.

The actor has a number of aircraft, including an old Air Force T-33 Shooting Star trainer jet, an F -86 Sabre and a Sabreliner twin- engine jet.

Career

Making his first appearance as an actor Michael Dorn mid-1970 as a guest in the TV show WEB The producer was impressed with his work so that he introduced him to an agent. This mediated contact with the acting coach Charles Conrad, where he took lessons for six months. His first film role came in 1976 when he played the role of Apollo Creed's bodyguard in Rocky.
