Michael Drosnin

Michael Drosnin ( born January 31, 1946 in New York City ) is an American investigative journalist and bestselling author. He has worked for The Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal.

The Bible Code

Worldwide popularity brought him the book The Bible Code, in which he treats the supposedly in the original Hebrew text of the Bible ( the Tanakh ) hidden interval code and the physicist Doron Witztum goes back to the Israeli mathematician Eliyahu Rips. The statements of the book is based (according to Drosnins ) on a long collaboration with rips and on own application of codes that include the spectacular prediction of Yitzhak Rabin's death was the result. Rips, Witztum and Mr Rosenberg distance themselves from this book, and rep denies cooperation with Drosnin. Despite massive criticism of the alleged improbability of such a code Drosnin is reportedly still convinced of the reality of the prophecies revealed promotional decoding system Rips ' u Witztums. In his third bestseller The Bible Code II - The countdown he warned the public of a " nuclear holocaust" in 2006.
