Michael Fedele

Michael Fedele ( born March 30, 1955 in Minturno, Italy) is an American politician. Between 2007 and 2011 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Connecticut.

Career

Michael Fedele graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut and Norwalk State Technical College. He worked as a private businessman and founded the Stamford -based Pinnacle Group, which operates nationwide in the IT sector. He is the CEO of this company. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. Between 1987 and 1991 he was a member of the council of Stamford; 1992 to 2002 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Connecticut. In 2002, he ran unsuccessfully for the state Senate.

In 2006, Fedele was elected to the side of M. Jodi Rell for Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut. This post he held between 2007 and 2011. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. In February 2013 it was announced that he is applying for the post of mayor of Stamford. During the elections on November 5, 2013 but he could not prevail. He defeated Democrat David Martin.

Michael Fedele is married and father of three children.
