Michael Fengler
Michael Fengler ( born November 14, 1940 in Königsberg ) is a German film producer, screenwriter and director.
Life and work
After the completion of the baccalaureate in 1960 he began studying art history, Romance languages and German. In the 1960s, he met the director Rainer Werner Fassbinder and worked at the short films The little chaos and the tramp with a cameraman and a sound engineer. Fengler and Fassbinder are 1971 Why Does Herr R. Run Amok? awarded the German Film Award. In 1971 he was one of the founders of Filmverlag the authors, in 1975 he founded the film production company Albatros. As a producer he has worked with Fassbinder Fellini. Comencini, Samperi and especially with Klaus Lemke together.
