Michael Gore
Michael Gore ( born March 5, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York City as Michael Goldstein ) is an American composer.
Life
Together with his older sister, singer Lesley Gore, Michael Gore won in 1980 in addition to the Oscar for Best Original Score and the Academy Award for Best Song with the song Fame in the eponymous film.
Michael Gore is the nephew of producer Howie Horwitz.
