Michael Hackert

Michael Hackert ( born June 21, 1981 in Heilbronn ) is a German professional ice hockey player who played for the Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Hockey League.

Career

In the second division season 1998/99 Hackert laced the first time in professional ice hockey for the Iserlohn EC skates. He also spent most of his youth. In 2000, the striker returned for two seasons back in his home town of Heilbronn and played there for the Heilbronner EC. In the season 2002/ 03 he stood for a total of three clubs on the ice. Only played the links contactors for the DEG Metro Stars, where he celebrated his DEL debut in November 2002 joined Michael Hackert for only four games for EV Duisburg and ERC Ingolstadt he finally ended his season. For the 2003/04 season, the attacker has signed a contract with the Frankfurt Lions. In the same year he was first German champion with the club from Hesse.

2005 Hackert accepted an offer from the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. In the U.S., the striker but only in the farm team of the Red Wings, Grand Rapids Griffins, was used in the American Hockey League, which is why he came back after a short time to Frankfurt.

Hackert brothers Oliver and Axel also play ice hockey, Axel since the 2008/ 09 season, even with Michael at the Adler Mannheim. Despite a contract until 2012, the contract of Michael Hackert after the 2009/10 season was terminated prematurely. For the 2010/11 season he signed a two-year contract with the Frankfurt Lions, however this could not fulfill due to the insolvency of the Lions.

Internationally

Hackert was already several times for the German national ice hockey team in action; he is now one of their squad strength. First, he went through the various junior national teams and took part in, for example, the U-20 World Championship in 2000. For the A-Team, he played, among others, the Skoda Cup, when Germany Cup 2004 as well as the Hockey World Cup 2007
