Michael Hesemann

Michael Hesemann ( born March 22, 1964 in Dusseldorf ) is a German historian, author, documentary filmmaker and journalist for para-scientific, time and church history topics. Hesemann was first known in 1990 through publications about UFOs and extraterrestrial " Visitors ", then, since 1997, as an author of books on Christian themes.

Life

Hesemann spent his childhood and youth in Neuss, where he in 1983 at Alexander -von- Humboldt -Gymnasium graduated from high school. He studied history, cultural anthropology, literature and journalism at the University of Göttingen and now lives in Dusseldorf and Rome, where he worked as a Vatican journalist.

His 37 books have been published in 14 languages ​​in a world circulation of about 2 million copies. Since 2008 Hesemann represents the American " Pave the Way " Foundation, which advocates for a reconciliation of Jews and Catholics, and for which he is also active as a historian. He is also a consultant for church history topics for the education of Catholic dioceses and archdioceses of several works and lecturer at the conservative Catholic Gustav Siewerth Academy.
