Michael Holt (snooker player)

Michael Holt ( born August 7, 1978) is an English snooker player.

Career

Holt started 12 or 13 years to play snooker, he wanted to emulate his favorite player Steve Davis. He was a professional snooker 1996. His biggest success on the snooker main tour he scored in 1999 and the UK Championship in 2003 and 2005 at the Grand Prix, where he pushed forward into the quarter- finals respectively. His all-time highest break of 144 points, he played in 2005.

At the time not for Main Tour belonging German Open he landed in October 2005 in Fürth in second place, only in the finale, he had to admit defeat to Mark King. A year later he secured the title there by a 4-2 final victory over Barry Hawkins.

In Prague Classic 2010 he won his first minor world ranking tournament. He defeated John Higgins in the final 4-3. At the 10th PTC Event 2011/12 Holt won his second minor - ranking titles.

Personal

Michael Holt falls at his games occasionally by emotional outbursts. In addition, he maintains a discharged on different occasions enmity with the five -time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan. Holt, who enjoys doing fitness training, is amateur chef and self-confessed football fan, his favorite crew is Nottingham Forest. In the city of Nottingham, he also has his residence.
