Michael Kadoorie

Michael David Kadoorie (* 1941 in Hong Kong) is a Chinese entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is, according to the Forbes magazine the richest five people from China, which further Li Ka Shing, Lee Shau Kee and the Kwok brothers, the three are family.

His father was the entrepreneur Lawrence Kadoorie, Baron Kadoorie (1899-1993) and his mother was Muriel Gubbay. Kadoorie visited the Institute Le Rosey in Switzerland. Kadorie is married and has three children.

Kadoorie passes the Chinese company, CLP Group. In addition, he controls the company The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels.
