Michael Katz (producer)

Michael Katz (born 1954 in Villach, Carinthia ) is an Austrian film producer and movie production manager, who has worked in most films of Michael Haneke.

Life

After his degree in economics at the University of Vienna, Katz has been working since 1985 for Wega Film, of which he is also co-owner since 2008. His exact operating environment in this film production company covers the areas of development, finance, main shooting and post- production for feature films and television movies .. His biggest success was the movie Love, for which he was in 2013 nominated for an Oscar for best film. Katz lives in Lower Austria.
