Michael Kehlmann

Michael Kehl Mann ( born September 21, 1927 in Vienna, † December 1, 2005 ) was an Austrian actor and director. His son is the author Daniel Quinn.

Life

Michael Kehl man was the son of Viennese officials and writer Edward Kehl man. Both his father and his mother were baptized Jews. By falsifying documents - Original documents were destroyed in a fire archive, creating new documents had to be issued - Michael Kehl 's parents declared as " half-Jews " in order to survive the Nazi era better. He graduated in 1945 Matura and then studied at the University of Vienna, German literature and philosophy. Kehl man left Vienna in 1953 and went to the NDR as a television director.
