Michael Murphy (actor)

Michael Murphy ( born May 5, 1938 in Los Angeles ) is an American actor.

Life and achievements

Michael Murphy's father, Bearl Branton Murphy, was a salesman. His mother Georgia Arlyn Murphy was a teacher. Michael Murphy served in the U.S. Marine Corps, he studied at the University of Arizona and the University of California. In the years 1962 to 1964, he worked in Los Angeles as an English teacher.

Murphy made ​​his debut in 1963 in the television series Combat! In the musical comedy Zoff for Two (1967 ), he starred opposite Elvis Presley. In the fantasy comedy Only flying is better (1970 ), he starred with Sally Kellerman one of the major roles.
