Michael Parkhurst

Michael Parkhurst ( born January 24, 1984 in Providence ) is an American soccer player of Irish descent. Parkhurst is mainly used as a full-back.

Career

Association

Parkhurst's first professional club was Bradenton Academics, for which he already played in the youth. Already in his first season as a professional, he was a regular player. At the end of the season he was awarded with the " MLS Rookie of the Year Award" for best young player. 2008 moved Purkhurst the Danish first division club FC Nordsjælland, where he remained for five years.
