Michael Ranseder

Michael "Michi " Ranseder ( born April 7, 1986 in Antiesenhofen, Upper Austria, Austria ) is an Austrian motorcycle racer.

Career

Ranseder began his motorsport career in 1993 in the motocross. In 1997 he was Austrian Champion in the class up to 60cm ³. In 2002, he rose in the road racing and was there in the ADAC Junior Cup at first attempt runners-up. The following year he moved to the German motorcycle road championship and reached the 6th place overall in the class up to 125 cc. In 2004 he was in that class German Master, at KTM. He also took a wild card to two races of the FIM MotoGP World Championship in the class up to 125 cc part. In the 2005 season he was able to record his first World Championship points after four wildcard inserts. In the same year he was still German Vice Champion in the 125cc class.

2006 was his first full season in the World Championship. Upon termination by KTM Ranseder started in the 2007 season, which he finished with 73 points as total twelfth, for the Finnish Ajo Motorsport team on a 125cc Derbi. The 2008 season played Ranseder on an Aprilia in the Italian team of Fiorenzo Caponera. The 2009 season took Ranseder the newly formed team Haojue in the 125cc class in attack. Since the manufacturer from the French Grand Prix but withdrew his team, the Austrian team CBC Corse from Italy starts from the Grand Prix of Germany for his new employer.

In his 69 starts in the Motorcycle World Championship Michael Ranseder managed a fastest lap of the race.

In 2010 he moved back to the International German Championship and was runner-up to Yamaha in the Supersport class. The following year he moved up to the Superbike class and went with a BMW at the start. With his team Fritze Tuning Lietz Sports Ranseder 2011 and 2012 could again enter the runner-up title. For the 2013 season, he joined team in the Honda Holzhauer Racing Promotion and was the third time due to runner-up in its class.
