Michael Richards

Michael Anthony Richards ( born July 24, 1949 in Culver City, Los Angeles ) is an American actor and former stand-up comedian.

Career

In 1989 he played in Weird Al Yankovic's first feature film " UHF " the role of " Stanley Spadowski ," a clumsy plaster man who rescues a small TV station with his clown show in the children's program. In 1989 he took over the role of " Cosmo Kramer " in Seinfeld, one of the most successful sitcoms of all time, an eccentric and life artist who noticed among others by his clothing style - thrift and always a size too big.

At a gig as a stand- up comedian in the comedy club Laugh Factory in West Hollywood Richards berated in November 2006 during a performance a heckler during a long Wutausbruchs as " nigger ". Richards was married from 1974 to 1992 with Cathleen Lyons, with whom he has a daughter.
