Michael Ryder

Michael Glenn Wayne Ryder ( born March 31 1980 in Bonavista, Newfoundland and Labrador ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 when the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Ryder began his career in 1997 in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL Hull Olympiques in the. NHL Entry Draft 1998, he was selected as the 216th in the eighth round of the Montreal Canadiens.

As of the 2000 /01 season played Ryder for various Montreal farm team in the American Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League, his first NHL bets graduated from the right shooter in the season 2003/ 04, in which he also first-team regular at the Canadiens been. During the lockout NHL 2004/ 05 played winger for Leksand IF of the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan and then returned to the Montreal Canadiens.

For the 2008/09 season brought coach Claude Julien, the Ryder had already been trained in Hull, Hamilton and Montreal, to the Boston Bruins. In the season 2010/11 the attacker won the Boston Bruins the Stanley Cup. July 1, 2011 Ryder signed a contract for two years with the Dallas Stars. In July 2013 Ryder signed a two year contract worth a total of seven million U.S. dollars at the New Jersey Devils.
