Michael Schiefel

Michael Schiefel ( born April 15, 1970 in Münster) is a jazz singer. Since 2001 Schiefel is a professor of jazz voice at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar active.

Life and work

Already during his studies at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, the singer began with the expressive possibilities of loop devices and other electronics to experiment. Schiefel first solo album Invisible Loop (1997) was recognized by listeners and critics. He performs with various solo and band projects at home and abroad.
