Michael Seresin

Michael Stephen Seresin, ONZM ( born July 17, 1942 in Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand cinematographer and film director.

Life

Seresin was in 1972 in The Ragman 's Daughter his camera debut. A long-term collaboration connects him with director Alan Parker, for which he stood for Bugsy Malone (1976 ) at nine films behind the camera. For Parker's Angela's Ashes in 2000 he was nominated for a BAFTA Award in the category Best camera, but could not win.
