Michael Silberbauer

Michael Silberbauer (born 7 July 1981 in Støvring ) is a Danish football player. Since summer 2011, the midfielder at the Swiss first division club BSC Young Boys Bern under contract.

Career

Association

Since 2000, Silberbauer is a professional footballer. First club of his career was Aalborg BK. There, the midfielder has developed into a performer of the team. After three years he returned to the club in Aalborg the back and moved to league rival FC Copenhagen. With the club he celebrated his first of three championships in 2004. 2006 and 2007, two further League successes were won. In addition, in 2005 and 2006, the Royal League, the Scandinavian Championship, won. At the finals of 2007, the FCK lost to local rivals Brøndby IF. 2004 was done perfectly with the Danish Cup and Super Cup Triple. After four years Silberbauer transferred abroad. Him where the Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht took them under contract. It quickly became the Dane regular players and crowd favorite.
