Michael Tronick

Michael Laurence Tronick ( born March 2, 1949 in Los Angeles, California) is an American editor.

Life

Tronick's career began in 1978 when sound editor on such films as The Devil's Camp and The One Man Jury. Until he 1987 Beverly Hills Cop II, his first autonomous film editing took over, he was still responsible for films such as 48 Hrs and Predator for the sound editor. From the late 80s until today Tronick mainly in major mainstream productions such as Days of Thunder, Eraser, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The Green Hornet was responsible for the cut. Twice he wude nominated for an Eddie Award.

Michael Tronick is a member of the American Cinema Editors. and was elected its vice-president in 2003.
