Michael Weatherly

Michael Manning Weatherly, Jr. ( born July 8, 1968 in New York City, New York ) is an American actor.


Michael Weatherly was born on July 8, 1968 in New York City. With his parents, Patricia and Michael Manning Weatherly Sr., his five sisters and a brother he grew up in Fairfield (Connecticut). In his youth, he delighted in music, played piano and guitar and sang in a band. Weatherly began a study of communication science. In college, he opted for an acting career, so he quit college.

For a better professional prospects as an actor drew Weatherly in 1991 to New York. First, he earned his living as a pizza delivery boy, shoe salesman and songwriter. His first role in 1992 as Theo Huxtables roommate in the Bill Cosby Show. He then played three years in the soap opera Loving with. The mid 1990s moved to Los Angeles and got Weatherly in the television series Significant Others besides the then relatively unknown Jennifer Garner a role, which became his first major success in 1998.

He had a recurring guest role as Christina Applegate's ex-husband Roy in the television series Jesse. In 2000 he received his first starring role in the television series Dark Angel on the side of Jessica Alba. In 2001, Weatherly became engaged to her. This compound was dissolved in 2003. Since 2009, Michael Weatherly is married to Serbian Bojana Jankovic Canadian assistant doctor and the couple have a daughter (* 2012) and a son (* 2013).
