Michael Zandberg

Michael Zandberg ( born April 16, 1980 in Petah Tikva ) is an Israeli football player. He plays since 2010 in Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in the Ligat ha Al, the highest Israeli league.

Career

Zandberg began his career in the youth team of Hapoel Ramat Gan. In 1998 he joined the squad for the first team of Hapoel Petah Tikva. In the first season he was with the club in sixth place. In the following season, you could qualify with the third place for the Intertoto Cup. After two sixth places in 2000/ 01 and 2001/ 02 he moved to Maccabi Haifa in 2002. In his first season one was runner-up. In addition Zandberg was allowed to play in the UEFA Champions League. They qualified for the group stage where you opponents such as Manchester United, Olympiakos and Bayer 04 Leverkusen faced.
