Michal Vondrka ( born May 17, 1982 in České Budějovice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player standing since July 2012 when HC Slovan Bratislava in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Michal Vondrka began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of the HC České Budějovice, for the first team, he was active in the Extraliga 2000-2003. The 2003/04 season began the winger at his hometown club before he moved to eight inserts within the Extraliga for HC Slavia Prague, where he was subsequently become one of the leading players. In the 2006/07 season, he was also borrowed for eleven games at league rivals HC Energie Karlovy Vary. With Slavia Prague, he won the Czech league title in the 2007/ 08 season. As the reigning champion, he took with Slavia in the 2008 /09 season at European level in the Champions Hockey League in part, failed with his team, however, already in the group stage at the eventual winners ZSC Lions in Switzerland.

The 2011/12 season began with Vondrka Kärpät Oulu in the Finnish SM- liiga. For Kärpät he scored in 21 games three goals and three templates in the top Finnish league and stood in six games of the European Trophy for the team on the ice. Mid-November 2011 he returned to HC Slavia Prague, which he only in the relegation round reached in the league at the end of the season.

In July 2012, Vondrka was taken from HC Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Internationally

For the Czech Republic Vondrka participated exclusively at the U20 World Junior Championship in 2002 at junior level. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the 2012 World Championships, where he won the bronze medal with his team. He also appeared for the Czech Republic in the years 2009, 2011 and 2012 in the Euro Hockey Tour to.
