Michel Arcand

Michel Arcand ( b. 1949 in Val- d'Or, Quebec, Canada ) is a Canadian cutter.

Life and achievements

Arcand was born in 1949 in the Canadian city of Val- d'Or, Abitibi- Témiscamingue in the region. In his career he has participated in approximately forty films as an editor.

Genie Awards, he won in 1988 for the cut of Night Zoo - Creatures of the Night, 1992 Leolo and 2007 at the 27th Genie Awards for Maurice Richard. Nominations for these prices received Arcand in the years 1989, 1991, twice in 1994, 1996 and 2001, a total of six times. Different films for Best Editing In 2000 he was for Emporte - moi - nominated Take me and 2006 for Maurice Richard at the Prix Jutra.
