Michel Déon
Michel Déon (* August 4, 1919 in Paris ) is a French writer.
Michel Déon was born in Paris in 1919 and studied law there. Subsequently, he was a war correspondent in southern France. After he had lived a long time in Greece, Ireland today is his adopted home. In 1970 he received the Prix Interallié for the novel " Les sauvages poneys ", the 1973 Grand Prix du Roman de l' Académie française for his work " Un taxi mauve". In 1978 he becomes a member of the Academie Francaise.
