Michel Fattal

Michel Fattal (born 1954 in Alexandria, Egypt ) is a French scientist, philosopher and author.

Life

Fattal treated the principle of logos (language, sense, reason, etc.) in Greek philosophy. In particular, the works of Homer, Hesiod, Heraclitus of Ephesus, Parmenides, Plato, Aristotle, Chrysippus ' and Plotinus are his sources of inspiration. He is the author of several works on Plato, Plotinus and the Neoplatonic philosophy of St. Augustine and the Farabi. Fattal is a professor of ancient and medieval philosophy at the University Pierre Mendès France in Grenoble, France. He writes in French, his works were mainly translated into Italian and Polish.
