Michel Hugo

Michel Hugo ( born January 13, 1930 Michel Squarciafico in Paris, France, † October 12, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States) was a French -born cinematographer who was in the U.S. film and television works.

Life and work

The son of the cameraman S. ( Simon ) Hugo ( born as Hugo Squarciafico ) had come by his father at an early age with the movie world in touch. He served as the early 50s in Paris experienced cameramen like Paul Coteret (about 1952/53, étrange at L' Amazone ) as an assistant and second cameraman. After his last French film ( as a camera assistant in 1955 ) Hugo decided to emigrate to the USA. Once there, he was naturalized on 29 January 1960.
