Michel Mulder
Michel Mulder ( born February 27, 1986 in Zwolle ) is a Dutch speed skaters and inline skaters. He started at the age of seven years with the in-line skating. He has a twin brother Ronald, who is also a successful inline speed skaters and speed skaters.
Mulder lives and trains in Heerenveen.
Speed Skating
At the World Championships 2012 in Heerenveen Mulder wins over 2x 500 m silver medal. 2013 wins Mulder in Salt Lake City the world title in the sprint four-way battle. He set a new world record points. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, he won the title over 2x 500 m. In the squares followed in January Smeekens and Mulder's twin brother Ronald. The Mulders are only the second pair of twins at the Winter Olympics ( by Phil and Steve Mahre in 1984 ), at the same time won medals in a competition.
Inline Speed Skating
Mulder focuses the Inline Speed Skating on the sprints and the relays. He has won several medals at world and European championships. In the 2012 World Cup, he took over 500 m his first world title.
