Michèle Rivasi

Michèle Rivasi ( born February 9, 1953 in Montelimar, Drome ) is a French politician of Europe Écologie -Les Verts.

Life

Rivasi studied teaching at the École normale supérieure biology at Lyon. After her studies she worked as a teacher at the École Normale Supérieure Lettres et sciences humaines. In 1986 she founded after the Chernobyl disaster, the Commission de recherche et d'information sur la indépendantes radioactivité. From September 2003 to November 2004 she was the director of Greenpeace in France. Since July 2009 Rivasi deputies in the European Parliament.
