Michiel ten Hove

Michiel ten Hove ( born February 24, 1640 The Hague, † March 24, 1689 same place ) was an interim basis in the years 1688 and 1689 Grand Pensionary of the States of Holland and West Friesland. Since ten Hove had died in 1689 at a young age, he was unable to reach the official appointment as Grand Pensionary.

Ten Hove was the son of Nicolaas ten Hove and Cornelia Fagel, one of his uncles was the eminent statesman Gaspar Fagel been.

Ten Hove fulfilled since 1664, a lawyer post in the Dutch West India Company. Since Rampjaar 1672, and the fall of Johan de Witt Ten Hove appeared as a pensioner of the city of Haarlem. After the death of his uncle Gaspar Fagel Ten Hove was appointed the new interim Grand Pensionary.
