Michigan Senate

The Senate of Michigan (Michigan State Senate ) is the upper house of the Michigan Legislature, the legislature of the U.S. state of Michigan.

The chamber of parliament is composed of 38 Senators representing an electoral district respectively. Each of these units includes a specified number 212400-263500 inhabitants. The senators are elected at the same time as the Governor of Michigan and have just as a four -year term. The elections have been postponed by two years on the U.S. presidential election. The term of office of a Senator begins on 1 January following the general election in November before.
