Mickaël Pagis

Mickaël Pagis ( born August 17, 1973 in Angers ) is a French former football player. Finally, the striker was standing by the Ligue 1 Stade Rennes representatives under contract.

Career

Pagis began in 1993 his career at Stade Lavallois. There he played for two seasons before he was hired in the summer of 1995 for a year to SO Chatellerault. After his return, he again remained for two years until 1998. For 1998/99 season he moved to the GFC Ajaccio. He remained there only a year and signed it at Nîmes Olympique in Ligue 2 During the 1999/2000 season he was top scorer in the second division. In winter, the following season he left the club and joined FC Sochaux, where he scored eleven goals in 59 games and was able to celebrate promotion to the Ligue 1. He remained the club until the summer of 2004 and then get changed for one and a half years to Racing Strasbourg. There he was able to draw attention to himself 19 goals in 45 games, rather the central striker for French club Olympique Marseille tradition of a contract signed in January 2006. The Marseilles paid for Pagis total of one million euros to Strasbourg. In May 2007 he stood in the final of the French Cup football against his former club FC Sochaux, which, after a 2-2 draw after extra time, has been lost on penalties 4:5.
