Disney's New Mickey Mouse stories ( in the original English: Mickey Mouse Works) is an American animated series of The Walt Disney Company from the years 1998 and 1999 shows you short stories with the inhabitants of Duckburg. .

Each episode of the series consists of various individual episodes of varying length. These fall into three groups: the short " gag cartoons " ( each about 90 seconds), the slightly longer "Character Cartoons " (each about 6 minutes) and the " Mouse Tales", each lasting about 12 minutes. The latter are re-issues of the classic cartoons of Disney cartoon characters. In addition, the series also includes new short films of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Primus of Quack and new Silly Symphonies stories.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 1999 and 2000 under the direction of Tony Craig and Roberts Gannaway from the studios Toon City and Walt Disney Television Animation. The scripts written Jess Winfield, Steve Roberts, Tracy Berna, Kevin Campbell and Rick Schneider. For the cut, Tony Mizgalski was responsible and the music was composed by Benoit Grey.

The first broadcast was on May 11, 1999 to October 7, 2000 at ABC instead. Buena Vista Television drove the series worldwide, the German premiere began on 18 November 1999 on Disney Channel, and ran until 30 September 2000.
