Mickie James

Mickie Laree James ( born August 31, 1979 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American professional wrestler. It occurs under the ring name Mickie James regularly at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.


James grew up in Montpelier, Virginia and attended Patrick Henry High School.

In addition to wrestling Mickie James has completed the financial statements for the Associate of Arts (AA) successfully and is currently studying to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in the Department of Operations Management.


In 1999, James Alexis Laree under the pseudonym of their first appearance in the Independent League kyda Pro Wrestling. At first she was active as a ring attendant ( valet ), but after it was allowed to also participate in wrestling matches. In addition, she worked as a waitress in a restaurant because wrestlers have in the independent leagues do not have a steady income, but on a fee per appearance. After she was hired one year at Ring of Honor, she was then employed by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA ).

World Wrestling Entertainment

In 2003, she left TNA and signed in April of the same year a development contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). There she was first formed in the structure League Ohio Valley Wrestling. On October 10, she gave her on RAW WWE debut under the ring name Mickie James. Initially they had the gimmick of a hyped fans of wrestler Trish Stratus. This gimmick was expanded later to a feud between the two programs, which she was allowed to finish victorious at Wrestlemania 22 with the receipt of the title of the WWE Women's Championship. Then James was in a short -term feud with Lita program.

On February 19, 2007, she had to give up the title to Melina. After James was allowed to win the title in a house show again, this title change was canceled as part of the elaborate storyline by then- RAW General Manager Jonathan Coachman. There has been a renewed title match where Melina Perez once again win the title and was allowed to take action in accordance with the reign of James the shortest of the WWE Women's Championship in its history.

On 14 April 2008 James was allowed by beating Beth Phoenix their fourth title. At the PPV event SummerSlam James had to give up on Beth Phoenix the title.

In the WWE Night of Champions event, which took place on July 26, 2009 James was allowed to defeat her opponent Maryse and for the first time win the title of WWE Divas Championship and hold for three months. After James had to lose in a title match at Jillian according storyline this item on 12 October 2009, she joined the SmackDown roster. At the Royal Rumble in 2010 it was allowed Mickie James to defeat Michelle McCool, and thus to win for the fifth time the Women's Title, but they then had to leave on Friday against McCool on Smackdown again.

Her WWE contract was terminated on April 22, 2010. Then she tried to be a country singer.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

On 7 October 2010 Mickie James returned to TNA. They feuded with Madison Rayne from the TNA Women's Knockout them the championship won on April 17, 2011 in a Cage Match at Lockdown PPV 2011. The title she lost 7 August 2011 at Hardcore Justice of winter. On 25 August 2011, she won the title for the second time. At No Surrender 11 September 2011 she had to give up on winter the track again.

On May 23, 2013 in Impact Wrestling, she won against Velvet Sky TNA Women's Knockout Championship for the third time.
