Microcode

The micro- code is the binary code of a microinstruction or microinstruction sequence of a microprogram. The microcode can be called " machine language " of the micro- program control station for controlling the arithmetic unit to be viewed in a processor. In reality, some processors allow at initialization time overwriting the set during production and stored in a read only memory ( microprogram memory ) microcode. Usually this is done by loading a stored in the EPROM BIOS microcode. In this case, the reloaded microcode to shutdown of the processor is maintained, i.e., the micro- programming is reversible. A microcode update is connected usually with a BIOS update.

The generation of micro- code to control a virtual computing unit is mediated by the microcode simulator Micro didactic manner.
