Mid Bedfordshire
Mid Bedfordshire was a District in the county of Bedfordshire in England. Administrative headquarters was Ampthill.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the urban districts Ampthill, Biggleswade and Sandy, and the Rural Districts Ampthill and Biggleswade. On 1 April 2009 the District with the neighboring District South Bedfordshire were combined to form a new unitary authority Central Bedfordshire.
