Mid-Western Development Region, Nepal
The development of Central Western ( Nepali: मध्य पश्चिमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र Madhya Kshetra Pashchimānchal Bikas / ( developing region of Central Western Zones ) (English: Mid-Western Development Zone ) ) is one of five development regions in Nepal. It has an area of 42,378 km ² and consists of the areas of Karnali, Rapti and Bheri. In the 2011 census, the region had 3,546,682 inhabitants. Administrative headquarters are Birendranagar.
The zones are further divided into districts.
