Middle Class Rut
Middle Class Rut is an American alternative rock band that was formed in 2006 in Sacramento, California.
History
Zack Lopez and Stockham Seam founded the mid-1990s the band Leisure. The line-up of the band changed often and despite expressions of interest of some major label and producers, the band was disbanded in the early 2000s.
, 2006, Lopez and Stockham a new band, Middle Class Rut, but consists of only two of them. Middle Class Rut toured since 2007, before the release of their first album, by the United States. The end of 2007 also came out the first single New Low. The song is still the most famous of Middle Class Rut and provided also that time for attention. So it was song of the year 2008, the local radio station KWOD. Subsequently, the band released several EPs. Thus, they drew the attention of the New Musical Express, Kerrang! and BBC Radio 1 on itself. 2009 and 2010 occurred Middle Class Rut for Social Distortion, Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures as the opening act on.
October 5, 2010 their first studio album No Name No Color was released in the United States, the publication in the United Kingdom followed suit on 22 November. The album contains a number of previously released on EPs songs. It was followed by several tours as a headliner and opening act.
On April 16, 2013, the music video was presented to Aunt Betty on Loudwire. On June 28, the release of the album Pick Up Your Head followed.
