Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve

The Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve is part of the recognized by UNESCO Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve in 1997.

It is located in the state of Saxony- Anhalt and extends along the Elbe between Wittenberg in the east via Dessau and Magdeburg to Seehausen in the north and the trough.
