Middleman is a four-piece English alternative rock band from Leeds. The first singles, the band Blah Blah Blah and Good to Be Back was founded in 2006. Published at Bad Sneekers Records 2007 It's Not Over Yet at Blip Records on September 5, 2010. On 12 December 2010 they released their fourth single Chipping Away also at Blip Records.
Their debut album, Spinning Plates was published on 1 May 2011 at Blip Records, but was produced by the band itself.
The second album Counter Steps released in October 2013.
The songs of the band were the radio station BBC Radio 1, Kerrang Radio and XFM, as well as DJs as Steve Lamacq, Zane Lowe, Colin Murray, Huw Stephens, Rory McConnell and Eddy Temple - Morris as the basis for the sampler.
Their titles were recorded for television, including from Soccer AM.
The song You Look Like You Do appeared on the Neon Nights Mixtape from 2007 on the side of Gossip, Crystal Castles and Kate Nash. It's Not Over Yet was recorded in the game NBA 2K11 by 2K Sports on the side of songs with Snoop Dogg and Two Door Cinema Club.
Middleman reached the second place in the category Best Newcomer Band at the BT Digital Music Awards 2006. In addition, they were four awards from the entertainment show Freshly Squeezed on Channel for Best Hip- Hop Newcomer Band. In addition, the band won the competition Future Sound of 2009.
Middleman have completed more than 200 appearances. They were supporting Lee " Scratch" Perry, The Streets, Jack Penate, Lethal Bizzle, The Go! Team, Toots & the Maytals, Esser, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and The Sunshine Underground. In addition, they participated in different festivals, including Latitude Festival 2007, Leeds Festival 2007, Secret Garden Party 2007, Beat -Herder 2007 Kendal Calling 2009, Moor Music Festival 2007 and 2009, Reading Festival 2009 Leeds Festival 2009, South by Southwest in Texas 2010.
The band also toured the Netherlands in 2010.
In Germany the band in 2012 appeared on the Lott - Festival and crash the stream. 2013 made appearances on Barney the stream, Rocken am Brocken and Trebur Open Air
