Midhurst is an industrial town in the English county of West Sussex. Its population is 4889 (as of 2001). Midhurst belongs to the district of Chichester, on the river Rother.

In Midhurst, there are two very interesting ruins, Tudor Cowdray House and Victorian Cowdray House. Other interesting buildings are " Midhurst Castle " and " Midhurst Church ". The Midhurst Grammar School is the school Intermediate of the city and was founded in 1672, the most famous student was HG Wells.
