Midsomer Norton
Midsomer Norton is a town in the west of England in the county of Somerset.
The town in the unitary authority Bath and North East Somerset (until 1996 in the County of Avon County ) is located about 20 km south-west of Bath on the River Somer, part of the Severn River system.
The name inspired Anthony Horowitz to the title of the TV series Midsomer Murders (Original Title: Midsomer Murders ), which however is not otherwise connected with the place. In addition, he finds in the song Slow Train by Flanders and Swann mention.
