Mieszko Talarczyk

Mieszko A. Talarczyk ( born December 23, 1974 in Poland, † December 26, 2004 in Thailand) was a Swedish musician. He was the singer and guitarist of grindcore band Nasum.

Since 1993, Mieszko was only active as a guitarist and later as a guitarist and singer with Nasum. He sang in the band Krigshot and from 1994 played Mieszko also still as a side project in the punk band Genocide Superstars. Besides his activity as a guitarist and singer Mieszko founded together with the Millencolin guitarist Mathias Färm Soundlab Studios in Örebro, Sweden.

The end of 2004 was Mieszko with his girlfriend on a trip to Thailand, where the two were recorded on 26 December 2004 by a tsunami of the great tsunami in the Indian Ocean in 2004. While Mieszko friend survived the attack, Mieszko remained missing after the tsunami. It was only on 17 February 2005 it was announced that Mieszko was found and identified corpse.

After the death of Mieszko the band Nasum disbanded. The status of the other band Genocide Superstars is unclear since his death.
