Mifflinburg is a small town founded in 1792 in Union County of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The population is approximately 3,500.

The place is located in a rural area, which is known for the farms of the Amish and Mennonites. These are descendants of German immigrants, of which there are many in and around Mifflinburg. They live very traditional and very religious. Many do without electricity and running water and only drive buggies, a certain horse and cart. There is also a buggy museum.

Mifflinburg home to, inter alia, several parishes, has a swimming pool, a bowling alley ( Bowling Alley ), three schools ( Elementary School, Middle School and High School ), various shops and restaurants ( including the branches of the most famous fast food chains).
